Sullivan's Castle Island, nestled along the picturesque coastline of South Boston, is a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts. Patrons rave about the fresh lobster rolls, clam bellies, and baked fish, each prepared with care and a signature Sullivan sauce that tantalizes the taste buds. Mark Means, a first-time visitor, highlights the excellent seafood but notes the portion sizes could be more generous for the price. Bob L echoes this sentiment, highlighting the culinary delights paired with stunning ocean views. The crab cake sandwich and crispy onion rings stand out, though he suggests visiting during off-peak times to avoid crowds. The atmosphere at Sullivan's is inviting and casual, making it perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Kathleen Fahey praises the toasted lobster roll and refreshing raspberry lime rickey, which complement the seaside spot beautifully. For those who enjoy a hearty meal with a side of scenic beauty, Sullivan's is the place to be. The staff's attention to detail and pleasant service enhance the overall dining experience, ensuring that first-time visitors, like Abby Baker, are charmed by both the food and the ambiance. With its commitment to quality seafood and a welcoming atmosphere, Sullivan's Castle Island is truly a culinary gem worth exploring.

This establishment is EXCELLENT! Earlier this afternoon 4-21-25, my girlfriend and I attended this establishment for the very FIRST time; Order#562. The seafood (Lobster roll; clam bellies; and scallops) is a 10! The ONLY complaint / disappointment that I have, is the PORTION SIZE, which I will give a 5, especially for the 100 that I spent here. Other than that, the entire atmosphere, including customer service, were EXCELLENT! Thank you, Sullivan's, for such a great time, and I will attend again in the near future. Respectfully, M. Means.

This place is crazy popular so make sure to brace for the crowds or go during the off hours (or better yet off season BUT do note that they close during the winter months). I've been here a few times but finally got around to making a review for it. There's nothing better than having a great meal while having a scenic view of the ocean (be prepared to not get too distracted unless you want the seagulls making a move on your food!). Items we had on this trip (as of 10/20): - Small fries - 2.50 - Nothing special. Could be crispier. - Onion rings - 6.95 - These are on the greasy side but man are they delicious! The batter is very crunchy and perfect for any onion ring lover out there. You also get a LOT for what you pay (see photos as a reference). - Chicken Caesar salad - 7.95 - not bad considering the price but definitely not something I would go out of my way to get if you're here. - Crab cake sandwich - 9.95 - Great crab flavor without too much breading. For 10 it's definitely not a bad option to have. If you're in the area stop by, enjoy the views and have some great food at a very reasonable price! (NOTE: During the summer months parking can be a bit hectic so be prepared to find parking before you reach the restaurant if it looks crazy).

Sullivan's is the best. I love this place. I especially love the crinkle cut fries. Best crinkle cut fries in the world. My only critique is that I wish they would sell Polar Seltzer (local company) instead of Perrier (Nestle)

It wasn't crowded even though it was a beautiful day. 1 ordered the lobster roll & a raspberry lime rickey when I got there. It was ready quickly. The hot dog roll was toasted perfectly. There were big chunks of lobster and just a small amount of mayo - just right. The price is reasonable only 21. And they make the best raspberry lime rickey, so refreshing.

We were in the area and sullivans was recommended to us by a southy. We had the lobster roll and a haddock sandwich. Both were delicious. The charm and ambiance were great. Nothing fancy just good food. Enjoyed walking castle island too. Recommended!

Was just there today. I'm a fan of how the onion rings are hand cut and nicely battered. I've had the dogs, burger, and lobster rolls - all good and highly recommend it to others. Be prepared to wait in line on a nice day. Order ahead is an option.
